Wedding Ring Questions
How far in advance should we order our wedding rings?
We recommend choosing your rings at least eight weeks before the wedding. Most of our rings are made to order in London and typically take around four weeks, but ordering early leaves time for engraving, final sizing and any bespoke details.
How do I choose the correct wedding-ring size?
Your ring should feel secure without being restrictive and pass over the knuckle with gentle resistance. Because temperature, band width and profile can affect the fit, we recommend having your finger professionally measured rather than relying solely on an online guide.
Should my wedding ring match my engagement ring?
It does not need to match exactly, but the two rings should sit comfortably together. We consider the metal, profile, proportions and setting of your engagement ring to create a pairing that feels balanced and helps minimise unnecessary rubbing.
What is the best metal for a wedding ring?
There is no single best choice. Platinum is naturally white and exceptionally durable, while yellow, white and rose gold each offer a distinctive character. We will help you choose according to your preferred appearance, lifestyle and the jewellery you already wear.
Do our wedding rings need to match?
Not at all. Some couples choose matching bands, while others select entirely different designs that reflect their individual style. A shared metal, finish or small design detail can provide a subtle connection without making the rings identical.
Can a wedding ring be resized later?
Many plain gold and platinum bands can be resized, although the possibilities depend on the design. Full-eternity, heavily patterned and some two-tone rings can be more difficult—or unsuitable—to alter, so we will always advise you before your ring is made.
