The raised shoulders sweep upwards like the arches of a cathedral, supporting and framing the centre setting while giving the ring its elegant profile.
What is better, a white and yellow setting head?
A platinum or white-gold head blends naturally with the diamond, helping it retain a bright, colourless appearance against a yellow-gold band. A yellow-gold head creates a warmer, more uniform finish. The difference is primarily aesthetic, and both can hold the diamond securely.
