Coverage Details

24-Month Guarantee on Craftsmanship:

We offer a 24-month guarantee on any defects in the craftsmanship of our jewellery. If a fault or defect is found in the way our jewellery was crafted, we will correct the defect, exchange, or remake the jewellery at no cost to you.

12-Month Guarantee on Diamond and Gemstone Settings:

The setting of any diamonds and gemstones under 0.05 Ct is guaranteed for 12 months. For diamonds and gemstones over 0.05 Ct, we recommend that insurance is taken out by the customer to cover the item.

- Exclusions:
Our guarantee does not cover:
- Accidental or intentional damage or loss caused by the customer or a third party.
- Damage resulting from inappropriate or abusive use of the jewellery.
- Damage resulting from repairs or alterations not undertaken by Emily Burlington Ltd.
- The consequences of normal wear and aging of the jewellery.
- Damage due to poor design on bespoke creations designed by the client against the advice of our professionals.

Additional Services

- One Free Alteration:
We offer one free alteration per item. Additional alterations are chargeable.

- Free Cleaning Service:
We provide a free cleaning service for your jewellery. Please note that this service does not include free postage.

- Free Insurance Valuation:
An insurance valuation is provided free of charge when items are purchased.

- Repairs:
Repairs carried out after the guarantee period are chargeable. Our expert craftsmen undertake a full range of jewellery repairs and refurbishments to ensure your piece retains its beauty and integrity.


How to Use Our Guarantee

If anything happens to your jewellery, whether it’s your fault or ours, the best thing to do is send it back to us for an assessment. We will then either repair the item for free under our guarantee, or we will charge you a small fee for the repair if the damage was caused by you. We will always be forthright and let you know beforehand if there are any charges.
