The 4Cs are the universal standard for evaluating the quality and value of a diamond.
Colour
Diamond colour is graded from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow or brown). The less colour present, the rarer the diamond.
Clarity
Clarity refers to a diamond’s natural inclusions and blemishes. The fewer visible characteristics, the rarer the diamond.
Carat
Carat measures a diamond’s weight, not its size. While larger diamonds are rarer, beauty depends on the balance of all four Cs.
